SLIS Update We appreciate the hundreds of letters of support we received from our alumni and friends during the past year. You did a wonderful job of demonstrating how important it is to continue the MLIS program at LSU. The good news is that the proposal to close SLIS has never been sent to the LSU Board of Supervisors. We have a great new group of students who started in January, and we are still accepting applications to admit students for 2012 to begin in June or August.
