The SLA Student Chapter is trying to gauge interest in certain activities for this semester. If you're interested in special libraries, information centers, SLA or ASIST please take a look at the questions below and get back to Allison Snell. Please keep in mind you do not have to be a member of SLA or ASIST to participate in student chapter activities.
1. Are you a member of SLA?
2. Are you a member of ASIST?
3. Would you like to hear more about what each group has to offer students?
4. Are you interested in touring special libraries or information centers? Where (LSU campus, Baton Rouge, New Orleans)?
5. Would a job application/ resume workshop be of interest to you (i.e. for SLA Careers or USAJOBS?)?
6. The LaSoMi Chapter meeting is April 11 at the Louisiana State Library. There will be several presentations and an opportunity to tour the Louisiana Section, Louisiana Voices recording studio, and the Blind and Physically Handicapped Section. Would you be interested in attending?
7.Do you have any suggestions for activities?
