Spring Graduation 2008

Comps will be on Friday, March 14th.  A light breakfast will be served at 9 AM in 171 Coates Hall.  
Students are to meet no later than 9:45 AM at 171 Coates Hall for instructions and seating.

If you would like to rent a cap, gown and hood, please email LaToya Joseph (lcjoseph@lsu.edu) with your height. The cost is $30—made payable to “SLIS Alumni Association”—Payment and Pickup are the week of graduation (May 12-16). You can also purchase a cap, gown and hood and invitations from the LSU bookstore (please contact the bookstore at 225/578-5137 for more information, or see the commencement link below).

All graduates are expected to wear caps, gowns and hoods for both the main and diploma ceremonies.

The SLIS diploma ceremony will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 3:30pm in the School of Music (located on the corner of Dalrymple Dr. and Infirmary Rd). Graduates should assemble in the lobby of the School of Music no later than 3:15pm.
