On Friday, February 13, 2009, the Beta Zeta Chapter initiated new members into Beta Phi Mu, the Library and Information Science Honor Society!

Graduates of the school who have at least a 3.75 grade-point average and recommendation from the faculty, the dean, and chapter adviser are nominated for membership in Beta Phi Mu - International Library Science Society. The Beta Zeta Chapter holds an annual awards convocation.
